因建设需要，原海滨游泳场被拆除。海滨游泳场是1950代建设的，在上世纪80年代以前，海滨游泳场是北海市民主要的游泳戏水场所，35岁以上的人对海滨游泳场有着很深的感情。 知道海滨游泳场要拆除的消息后，我抽空去把海滨游泳场剩下的建筑拍了下来，为北海游泳人，为北海游泳队历届队友留下一些珍贵的相片，留下你们童年和少年美好的记忆。 在这里曾留下过叶剑英元帅和陶铸的身影，1984年大海豚陪同国务院副总理谷牧在海滨游泳场下海畅游廉州湾。 海滨游泳场留下了大海豚许多美好的回忆。
